A few days ago I registered my domain wellfundyou.com on UnitedDomains(I have the authcodes and receipts). I own it for a year and only put it up for sale on two sites, which are Afternic and Sedo. I didn't place a price for it, but when I entered it on GoDaddy, it said it was in auction for $500. Strange thing is, I never even moved my domain to GoDaddy. Only a few of my domains are on there and this is not one of them. Plus I never listed it for $500 anywhere. PLEASE HELP, I am confused what to do. Someone else is selling my domain name that they don't even own.

:td:

It could be an old listing before the domain dropped and you re~registered it

ohhh. Yeah because it says the auction doesn't end for another few months. I can't list it on GoDaddy because it's already up for auction. And many other domain sites such as Sedo won't let me sell it because they can't authorize that it's mine. I registered it a few days ago and I do have all the legit authorization codes and receipts to prove that I do own it. So basically, any domain site won't let me sell the name. Any advice on what I should do? Thanks

It is because of SEDO MLS program. If you have listed it on Sedo it will automatically list it on godaddy and afternic. Also if it is sold in other market place then SEDO then commision is usally little higher. Check more info on Sedo MLS to get exact info.

Edited: Ok I See you didn't put any price. Maybe person who you bought it from listed it there and forgot remove it after selling it to you. Write a polite mail to your seller to remove this listing.

Thanks for the advice. But the thing is, I didn't purchase the name off anyone. I just registered it myself and it was available. I don't know how to contact the person on GoDaddy that is doing this. But as of now, my domain name WellFundYou.com is having trouble being authorized to me. I registered it on UnitedDomains a few days ago and again I have all the online receipts and certificates to prove that I own it.

Email GoDaddy support and tell them to remove the auction listing because it isn't yours, that you just registered the domain: support [at] Godaddy.com

Repeat with Sedo: support [at] Sedo.com

The domain was registered before (in other words, your reg wasn't "fresh"); the former owner allowed the domain to drop but never removed it from the sale sites.

Thank you very much. I sent both sites requests. Hopefully this all will be cleared up soon.
