Yes accept the offer. If you listed that name here on namepros, you probably wouldn't even get $15 for it. So don't get caught up in all the stats above. You got a great deal. At a thousand dollars they probably could get a way better name in a better extension so accept it and enjoy the Chrismas cash. Just my opinion.

I think you have to accept the offer if you don't need the domain for yourself.

Take it and run.

The .com is parked, so no reason to believe he's the owner of the .com
If you ask for more, you may either take another $500-$1,000 (I think) or lose the whole pot ($1,000)
I believe it depends on how much you need the $1,000 and what you believe are the chances that you won't piss off the buyer.
IMO the price you've been offered is fair +

Good analysis! But dont you think that he should juuuusstt increase it by about $200-$500(like u suggested 500-1000)? because many buyers 1st offer isnt the highest they are willing to go? i just think a little brinkmanship here can this seller get just a bit more.

Taking the first offer right away in general can be detrimental, because it makes the buyer think they could have gotten a better deal and offered more than they should have.... you always want to make the buyer feel good about the deal instead of second chancing themselves... countering at the right number is the best thing to do at this situation-- not too high but not too low above their offer. Depends on how badly you need the money right now, and if you can afford to hold for a longer time.

I agree.

My suggestion would be counteroffer $1200.

If you don't mind me saying, that sounds like a pretty dumb question. How can anyone tell you what price to accept? Do you want to accept it? Do you think it's a fair offer? If it's just a name, I would accept it.

I would research the name a little. Bestbest could be a small bookmaking chain. Here in Ireland a lot of independent bookmaking firms got together and formed betpack to have an online presence to be able to compete with the big 2. PaddyPower and Boylesports. So that name could be in demand.

I would check check company registers seems like a good name for a bookmakers. A lot of this type business buy out whole chains at a time. Maybe 20 shops in one move.

Bookmaking chain? Like cut down trees, so people can read words on murdered tree remains?

People who read physical books make me sick. They choose to murder innocent tree, all so they can read! Who do they think they are!! They probably have paper maps in their car too! Read physical newspapers and mail with envelopes with stamps! Probably the same people who like paper money! OMG Thats so 2008!!

LOL... ok im joking but seriously, can't believe that people are stuck in the past with 'paper'

PS... Sell the domain, before the buyer finds theTITLE of this post! and realizes how revealing this post is, and reconsiders your skills as a seller

In the UK bookmaking is not making books. Its betting firms, they are called bookmakers.
