.tv Some positive .tv news

today was the first ever day in my life to be given the chance to sit down in front of two angel investors whom i initially approached for their ad dollars to go on one of my .tv sites i am developing.........

instead they got back to me and wanted to buy into the business as they could clearly see from my screenshots i sent them, that a new type of internet is surfacing and they want to be part of the action

now instead of being a one man show, i will be given a florida office with two fu.ll time staff to start off with, equity, a salary and a nice one off check to seal the deal

as finster said, if we all spend our time developing one.tv, it will do more for the ext than anything else and there is always the chance of hitting the big time

And that is positive, roll up your sleeves and get to work type of news I am interested in reading and hopefully to be able to be sharing someday soon.

Lol, I remember back to the early days when Millers regged about 100 of the worst .tv's available and got completely slagged by the members. I was going to post a link to the posts but I can't find it - perhaps it was across several threads - my memory fails me.

Haven't times changed! Millers changed his strategy and look where he is now. Must admit Millers, I am very impressed by how your perseverence has paid off. All the best

love your spelling - try selling anything to investors with a business plan written in god knows what language.....

As to your point I will respond by saying it is totally hypothetical because I would never had the enthusiasm, patience or idea for the site had it been anything other than a .tv in the first place....

Secondly - it is true that if i went to the investors with an idea to make money on any other extension, they would have gone for it - because thats what they do - make money - the difference here is the level of enthusiasm and them wanting to get as personally involved as time will allow them.......they had never heard of .tv, nor anything about web 2.0 and as O explained about the global appeal and branding power of the ext - they were hooked - I think alot of the reason they took a gamble is because they see the upside of the ext versus the downside.....

to everyone else who decided not to dump their shit on this thread, thankyou so much for your kind words......we will now be bringing the web design team back from outsourcing to an in house team in the usa, and probably wont be live now till january as we are going all out to get the scale of the business right the first time, but of course i cant wait to show you guys the finished article
