.tv Some excellent Spanish names at Sedo / Great Domains

I noticed there were a few top quality Spanish .tv's currently at Sedo / Great Domains auction.

juegos.tv
musica.tv
conciertos.tv

Will be interesting.

I believe juegos.tv was bought for $xxx,xx around 5 yrs back though not sure if it was confirmed.

That's not surprising, the .TV ext is more brandable than most Spanish country extensions as well as the flood of extensions that are about to hit the market.

The minimum bid accepted was 25,000 usd

Not sure yet, but i don't understand why a nice spanish keyword like that would not be any good when something like juegos.tv is worth $25k.

Yes,it does mean construction in Spanish.But as of its reseller value,I can't add anything new to my previous comment.It's just a dictionary word with no appeal whatsoever (it's not a product nor a service and it has nothing to do with TV).
I'd drop the name unless you have any plans for it (I can't think of a way of monetizing that name though).

If you have your eyes on something like this:

...then,the plural (Construcciones) would be your best choice.

You can't put those two names in the same basket."Juegos" is in the top 5 best keywords in Spanish."Construccion" doesn't even fall in the top 100.

That name isn't even worth the regular fee for me (no disrespect to you).Sometimes isn't that easy to pick up a keyword in a foreign language thinking that it will hold the same meaning as in the original language).

Agreed. Can't even compare the two. Even Juego.tv sold for a decent price based on what the new buyer discussed. Quality Spanish .tv's are selling for great end user prices. Other than that, you will be holding out for a lot longer.

I have quite a few Spanish domains including .TVs but I would not even buy Construccion.tv on the drop. There are occasional sales of non-videocentric .TV domains but when dealing with foreign-language domains you need to be careful with keywords - particularly when the domain is not .COM.

Great time to buy spanish .com domains IMO. 25k for juegos.tv, better value to buy a basket of domains in .com right now before the .cluster rolls out.
