Hello everyone,

I've seen different types of landing pages and decided to try creating a couple of my own. I would like to get your constructive feedback.

I'm too new to add links to my posts but the urls are below.

CashPacific.com
CasasNewYork.com

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for your time.

how many sales did you have using that great landing page?

if we discuss which landing page is better
then the most important factor is:

1) how many contacts did it make
2) how many of those where fake / robots
3) how many sales did you get?

my theory:
if sombody wants a domain
he doesn't care for your landing page
he simply wants to contact you most easily

your agressive response tells me you made no sales

of course sale lander not most important.
domain quality more important

but that changes nothing to fact this thread is still about best sale lander to use.
and it changes nothing to the fact every person still uses and wants a sale lander.
so everyone here (Except you?) just looking for best sale lander to create and use.
no one here (except you?) gives a sheet how many sales were made by who on which lander. they just want nice easy to setup and use lander. I do not own same domain as you and you do not own same domains as joeblow.. so your sale# or mine is not relevant to joeblow. joeblow does not care about it... joeblow just wants a nice easy sale lander to put his domains on lol.. and then depending on his domain quality, he gets or not his sales heheh.. you follow this ya?

sorry didn't mean to sound aggressive. I just thought you were messing with my brain asking me same retarded offtopic questions all the time

must be some kind of lanaguage barrier.

no hard feeling.
bye bye.

I agree with others that the font for "this domain name may be for sale" should be smaller and your contact info and form should be above the fold.

If you had a price in mind you could add a buy it now button from escrow so they can initiate the transaction without having to contact you.

.. fact this thread is still about best sale lander to use.

the best sales lander is the one that gives most end user leads
eventually based on trust invoked by that lander

that can only be messured by the number of ( real ) contatcs
in comparison to other landers

the question is not :
- which looks nicer
but:
- which is more productive

that is a real tough question
and I am absolutely interested in a fact based answer

do u even know what you are saying frank?

u canot compare how many leads or sales u get per each lander unless u use same domains for each lander.

and clearly, I do not have same domains as you. and you do not have same domains as joeblow

therefore my sale or lead stats on bodis lander mean nothing to your sale stats or lead# if you use bodis with your domains. becuse.. as u said it yoruself... yoru results and mine and joeblows will deepend on quality of each person domains..
but that still changes nothing to fact bodis could be a very nice basic lander to use.. easy to setup control etc.. which it is.

so I guess if you want facts about this you jusst gonna have to invent them lol

This is really great stuff. Lots to think about. I'll be making some changes for sure. The first one will be to move the contact page to the top of the landing page where it can clearly be seen.

Then I need to ponder if it's actually worth my time and energy to create a landing page for each domain I want to sell or go with a quicker, more stream-lined option.

I first started to take an interest in domaining this past April. Been reading, researching, and learning a lot. Gotta admit I've been getting the strong urge to register and buy lots of domains. I think I've been able to tame these urges for the most part thanks to the more experienced people here at NamePros who keep telling beginners to not buy yet and read/learn like crazy first.

Anyway, thanks again everyone for the feedback on my landing pages. I really appreciate it.

I recommend you open account on above.com and bodis. easy to get hang of. and once you do get hang of it.. u can control your entire domaining future from there.. redirecting to various park companies.. sale landers.. be it afternic.. godaddy.. bodis... or your own slae lander url.. above.com even let's u redirect with masking etc.. so your own domain name for sale appears in browser tab to buyer.

but the biggest advntage of above.com is that you do not have to go through every regisstrar each time u want to change redirect.. or dns..

so imo, I'd start with opening accounts there.. and learning them. it's not that hard. intuitive.

hope I was able to help. I do not think you should listen to frank cause the resutls you will get with yoru domains on landerX have nothing to do with resutls he got or I got or joe blow got with his domains.. on landerX. once u get nice easy lander setup.. the rest (and here is where you can listen to frank) will depend on quality of your domains.. in terms of how many sales or offers u get etc.

good luck
happy domaining!

hi there. yes! above+bodis combo is working real well for me in terms of laander combo! while I agree with mr franky from germany good domains sell regardless of lander.. but that changes nothing to fact you still need a lander.. and that's what this thread is all about.. so let's get this done and figure out whats the easiest most user frriendly lander to have for the op and rest of us.. lol

to answer you STub... if I understand correctly, u want to use above to redirect to make offer page. u can do this using the makeoffer page on bodis directly... like one of domains I showed.. one was for buynow.. the other for make offer.. but both goign through bodis.. so u just send all traffic from above to bodis.. then redirect to lander.. buynow or makeoffer. u pick.

and if u meant to use another makeoffer lander than bodis.. then just use above redirect to url option on above.com.. with or without masking as you want.. then enter your url there and u can use $D to pass domain name..

so somehting like:

afternic/salelander/$D

hope it helps

Hi alcy,

That redirect at above for the make offers sounds a bit tedious, like at my registrar. What I did was commission somebody at freelancer.com to write me a redirect script. I probably overpaid for the script, for something I could have written myself given enough research. But that might have taken a week. And time is money. It was money well spent. So what I am (or more correctly will be) doing is redirecting make offer domains from my registrar to the script and the script will send it on to the landing page of my domain selling website. I could do this at my registrar, but the process is very long and tedious. By using the automated redirect script to redirect to the landing page, I save approx 80% of the time in writing the redirects at my registrar. So another great and huge saving in time. I can't wait for my registrar to produce there easier redirects which could be months away until never.

I'm still waiting for the nameservers dns to propagate before I can test out the script. But I'm 100% confident it will work great.

The bodis solution looks good too, except i'd rather have the visitor on my own website where they can easily search my own portfolio for alternative domains.

Hello, my 2 cents here - looks good, but try to make your landing pages max 2 mouse scrolls long

You can always tweak the pages from the suggestions here, some good ones.

I'd suggest just one thing, don't explain what the name means. A good domain doesn't need an explanation and you risk that a buyer might see a different use. BJMO

To date I've had good results from GD parking and the rest of my domains I just redirect to my domain website.

I'm currently doing a new test with domains I register, only have a couple running to date but I'm forwarding the domains to my auction site, parking them for a year with a buy it now price, also make offer option. Just to be clear I'm not promoting here as this can be done for free but here's an example of a domain that's parked for a year. I could have parked it longer but just doing a year now to see what happens...

Many registers provide free forwarding, some don't.

One of my test domains: Tampa.Church

This might save you some time rather than creating your own parking pages per domain.
