Just thought i would let you all know i sold ni.tv via Afternic for $1800.

Buyer got a great deal imo, but i needed the cash and turned a decent profit.

I will inform DNJournal, the more .tv sales the better

Thanks to everyone for your kind words, the buyer was a guy in Northern Ireland and as far as i am aware he isn't a member of this board.

I was a bit aprehensive after the last time i sold this the buyer dropped out as he said he wasn't aware it was a $1k premium,although i clearly stated it was in the description.

But this guy completed the transaction in really quick time.

and credit where its due, i found afternic really helpful and professional during the transaction.

As the owner of NorthernIrelandTV.com can I say congrats. If the new owner makes a channel out of this beaut of a name then his branding problems will have been thoroughly sorted. There is a lot of soft money in Northern Ireland at the moment (after the troubles comes the reconstruction) and obviously the buyer has bagged a corker.
I think we all understand that sometimes the potential of many of our names has to give way to taking the cash today.
