Software to find end users ?

Is anyone aware of any software that pretty much automates the process of finding end users based on entering certain keywords or a domain name? So something that pulls out emails addresses of potential end users buyers basically.

I know Estibot has attempted this feature with their lead generator feature for the higher priced memberships but is there other stand alone software that can do this?

Thanks in advance :)

Estibot was the first and is the only one that has the process automated as far as I know.

Funny you should post this, I am writing about automating end user sales marketing now. One thing I have been doing is using a DomainTools bookmarklet to quickly access WhoIs information from Google search results.

Update: I've finished my article, check it out: How To Automate End User Domain Sales Marketing

Thanks that a good start at least ...we must be tapping into the Collective unconscious at the same time ;)

Yes, there is. You can put in a term to search for.
Fast Email Extractor 7 by lexcom or whatever it was.
It will harvest emails from websites, but set the settings low so you don't get banned by your web host. Most hate spammers.

Then you need something like spryka or whatever to send out the emails.
It isn't cheap.

I think you have a better chance of selling tiny zip lock bags of "Gulf Sludge" to end users rather than selling them domains. Wait, got to run and see if gulfsludge.com is available. LOL.

We (estibot) will be releasing a free desktop based application that will do this, however, you'll need to be an estibot customer to use it.

I would like to know the feedback of users, how useful such tools were to you ? Are the end users you find using the tool quality ones ... meaning, do you feel like sending a mail to all the end users or do you still have to filter the results ?

Estibot had a tool like this, but from I heard from multiple users,
it is no longer functioning.

Mass emails suck!

better off just googling the term of the domain and researching the paid links and organic results and actually spending a few minutes looking at the sites to make sure they are a match for the domain and that you get the best email address as quite a few list a handful of emails which may go to unrelated departments, I just spent maybe an hour researching some sites but at least I know the 18 emails I just sent are going to the right people.

Somebody was selling Windows program (at this forum) which extracts WHOIS emails for a specific term (via google search) and sends template emails. Sorry, I cant find the link :(

Is it working now?

This feature seems to be still down, after you moved the servers, did you guys get it fixed?

Automated anything usually makes for a second-rate process...

...and in selling anything, it usually sucks.

The long slog of research & a personalised approach generally gets the best results in the long run, imo...

I'm working on such a tool for a couple of months. There are some technical challenges with web based solutions and some other technical challenges with desktop based solutions but it is possible to find workarounds.

What bothers me most is the stupid UDRP rules. Many people have lost domains just because they listed them for sale, let alone offering them for sale directly to a trademark holder.

Today I just came across to the e-ge.com wipo case by chance and I felt very upset about that case. The guy lost the domain just because it was for sale and he didn't even offer it to the complaint.
WIPO Domain Name Decision: D2000-0343

If you don't have the domain developed you risk losing it in an UDRP, especially if the domain is for sale and you contacted a potential buyer, even if the domain is generic.

Some worrying scenarios I can think of are when you have a generic domain, (lets call that generic.com) and you offer it to generic.ws, generic.it etc. lesser extensions, or you offer it to genericxxxxx.com, xxxxxgeneric.com the two word site owners.

Anyway, there are many aspects to this issue to consider. Maybe it is better to develop a domain and then send those offer emails.

By the way, somebody mentioned seeing a software in the forum. I saw that too a this is their website:
Sell domain name guide

I didn't buy or use that myself. It was offered for a lower price for a while and then the price went up. I have a problem with that. Even if that tool is worth the regular price I would feel like a fool paying more than others paid for it. So I didn't buy it. I contacted the person but wasn't very impressed by the response. If you make something available for a lower price and then suddenly rise the price, don't expect to make many fans with this strategy. This is just too annoying.

As has been said, automated prospecting tools are never going to produce the results that you want. Epik's End User Genie is laughable. Have not tried Estibot's.

It takes less than half an hour to run up a prospecting list for a given keyword. If you keep good records, then the next time you get into that keyword or similar terms you already have prospects.

Why is the idea of doing any work such an anathema to people in the domain market?

After reading that decision i'm shocked he lost the domain, that is complete bullshit. It means almost anything is up for grabs if a big company has a similar trademark and wants your domain. Unbelievable.
