Software Company's $375,000 Domain Purchase Tops This Week's Sales Chart

The new weekly domain sales Report is out at DNJournal.com. Week 2 of the 2013 domain sales season produced a very substantial six-figure sale. We learned that Booker Software Inc. paid $375,000 to acquire a new name for their company in the first confirmed six-figure sale of the new year. .Coms wound up sweeping 20 of the 26 entries on our latest all extension Top 20 Sales Chart (the extra spots resulted from a seven-way tie for the final position). The non .com gTLDs earned four places on the elite list and the ccTLDs had two, with both of those country domains landing on the top half of the leader board. Booker Software paid $375,000 for Booker.com? They had new registrations of BookerSoft.com and BookerSoftware.com just mid-2012. Must be one hot growth company.
