Hi guys

What happens to a domain that Snapnames lists as up for deletion but nobody catches it?

I would assume that it would be deleted and anybody could then re-register it immediately for a basic fee, rather than the $60 that Snapnames charges - however I've been unable to re-register a couple of names that should be deleted.

If this is a really stupid question please ignore - its just that I'm slightly baffled.

Thanks

Either someone else used Snapnames, or a different service (pool, enom drop club) or someone "basic-regged" it before you.

Be patient. Try to register the name again in 4 or 5 days. Some domainers register as many dropped domains as they can afford :imho: and then test the domains for traffic. The domains that do not get traffic are deleted from their account and are returned to the general public again.
