SMSscript

Now runs off a MySQL database, much faster and more reliable than version 1.0. Allows for IP limiting (you may now limit the number of messages per day from each IP address) and includes a confirmation number system which prevents automated scripts from exploiting your website.

SMSscript uses e-mail to SMS gateways provided by cellular phone providers. Depending on the company, users may or may not be charged to receive the messages, but you will never be charged for sending them.

All of the listed providers that come with the script were taken from http://funsms.net/email2sms.htm -- I don't have any way to test them, so they are provided AS-IS. The database can be edited after uploading through any regular MySQL editor. Usually included with hosting packages is phpMyAdmin which would let you clear the database and add new e-mail to SMS gateway addresses. I cannot be held responsible for non-working carriers.

In the process of fixing that problem; our server crashed completely last night and I've been on my toes all day getting 140+ sites back online with about 25 mods to the Apache install... Too bad I didn't have a full backup, only a backup of accounts... :p

This script hasn't been updated regarding the e-mail to SMS addresses in over 6 months, so no, some of the providers' addresses don't work anymore.

The script can send to any network, provided you have an up-to-date and working e-mail to SMS address (like [email protected]). All of the current addresses are in a MySQL database and can be updated as the script purchaser pleases.

Unfortunately, every provider is different and has a different way of doing their e-mail to SMS addresses. You'd need to update the database yourself.
