Custom SMS messaging script. Allow users of your site to send SMS messages to their friends, family, or anybody without costing anyone anything! Main file is IonCube encoded to prevent copyright infringement, loaders are included. No setup required (unless your server doesn't allow for runtime IonCube loading), just upload the files, add the code to your site, and you're ready to go.

The script uses e-mail interfaces to send the SMS messages to users. If you find a problem, feel free to e-mail me with the contact link on the site. I've yet to test all of the SMS email gateways as I don't know people on all of the providers I added to the script. There are 175+ providers listed, if you know of one that isn't there, let me know and I can probably add it for you.

Similar scripts use actual SMS gateways, charge the owner cash for each message, and cost upwards of 10x as much for the script alone. Get this script today for only $24.95, limited time offer. It's going to raise to $34.95 quite soon, don't miss out on this low price!

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.

im really interested in this but you can only add 10 digits into the mobile number box, when a uk number is 11

If that gets fixed and it works, i will most likely buy it

Changed to 15 possible characters -- had it set to 10 when I was testing it.

NOTE: I've gotten multiple PMs asking how much the "Gateway" costs to send the SMS messages. Look at the title -- there is no "Gateway" needed! The messages are completely free for the site webmaster as well as the users to send. The script is standalone, so you don't need to be a member at any special site or deal with paying a few cents for every text message.

Thanks for looking!

still only 10 characters for me...

Id buy it if the sample can be changed to 15...

PS... If we buy, is the licence limited to per domain or unlimited use on multiple domains?

So how does this work? If you don't have to pay for messages?
Is it possible to changes settings in order to put a small text ad at the bottom of each text message sent out?

If you'd like to put an ad on the text messages, then you'd have to have me edit that in for you after purchase -- that would be in the encoded file. The messages are free for you to send, and free for users to send, as they're sent through the provider's e-mail relays.

As for the 15 characters, I sorta made a boo-boo and didn't upload the new file. It's there now :)

PS: The license is per domain, one copy entitles you to use it on one site.

OK, just a couple of last questions:

1. How many countries does it work in, and can you send international messages?
2. Do all of the providers allow this? In other words, is there an agreement with them to use them to send SMS messages?

I'm not quite sure how many countries the 175+ providers cover, but I'd guess it's at least over 100 (can't guarantee anything).

There's no agreement needed with the providers as they offer the SMS messaging as a free service to their users anyways -- the ability to recieve is there, therefore the ability to send is there as well. All of the providers listed have this service turned on and I've been able to get a hold of the address to use.

Thanks!

Try using your username -- just an idea. The Vodafone UK system might not take numbers, check it out.

I just sent a test to a T-Mobile UK phone, waiting for it to come through. We've also got Orange and Virgin that we can test. I'll be able to test O2 in a few days, but right now it's not working (says "Limited Service").

I have Net10 pre-paid phone, which covers AT&T Wireless, T-Mobile and TracFone, neither of these are in the list...

T-mobile and AT&T are in the list... Net10 may not be because they're not actually a service provider -- they just contract out other company's prepaid time. I'm not sure how that would work as the prepaid companies don't always deal with this kind of SMS messaging through email.

just a suggestion but in addition to the carrier you may want to add the email ending.

such as:
T-Mobile (@tmail.com)
etc.

that may help clarify to some since some providers have multiple email endings depending on the service.

Alright, I'm tired of answering questions related to relays that don't work...

http://www.funsms.net/email2sms.htm

Check out that link, it has a list of all of the addresses I included in the script. If they don't work, then so-be-it. I can't test them all, so I can't tell which ones work, which ones require special formats, and which ones don't work at all. That's the main reasoning behind the $25 price -- I can't be perfect with my work if I have no way to test it.

Other scripts do sell for quite a bit more than this; it's more of a thing to play around with and add for friends, not for a large company.

I put a post in the free resources section the same time I made this post. For those of you who'd like to comment and let me know which services don't work for you, you can either PM me or post in the thread in the free resources section. I'd rather keep this thread clean.

Thanks for understanding.
