SMF (simple machine forum) Specialist WANTED! Need Help - NP$100 for the right answer

In a SMF - simple machines forum, how can i place an "invitation to register" on top of the forum, that once someone has logged in DISAPPEARS! i'm currently utilizing the "news" screen, which remains visual regardless of someone having logged in. .... and it drives me nuts!

What i'm trying to achieve is the same thing that NP has when you navigate to the site but haven't logged in yet. Once you logged in, the invitation to register disappears.

Is there a solution, package, setting ANYWHERE in SMF that can do that?

If anyone can help me, i'll pay 100NP$ for the right answer.

I don't understand this. SMF already asks unregistered guest users to register.

you have a mod. look at the custom mods or search in their forum.
