SMF Forum?

This may not be the right topic:

I'm using SMF for my forum, now i'm curious about:

If i wanted to make certain topics only accessible by users that have paid for it, how would i do that when i use SMF as forum?

I know that vBulletin can do it (just like on DNF), but can SMF do it as well?
If so, can anyone please let me know how?

Example:
User A - regular Free user
User B - Has package 1 - $10/mth and access to more than User "A".

So, what i need is a paid subscription module that users can upgrade their accounts from free and are then automatically identified as paid subscriber and can access all topics.

Anyone know how to do that in SMF?

Hello !

You must create a new group and name it "VIP Members" and in some forums , just change the privilegs to "VIP Members"

If you cannot make this , then just make those members Moderators but do not give Moderator Rights and make the forum accessible only to moderators !

As olgi said, it would be a private usergroup and you would manually have to add people upon payment. I could possibly help you do this if you want me to.
