Skype buying Groupme

Well it seems that the ever growing internet is becoming smaller by the day as the major money rich sites buy out competitors, the latest according to a report on Mashable is that Skype is buying out Groupme, this only days after it was announced Skype was itself bought out by Microsoft.

One thing is for sure, this news will increase the perceived value, on paper at least, of social networking domains. Just my take on things of course
