Situation with Afternic BIN

So a few days ago I received an email with an offer for a domain through Afternic. Offer was for 1k less than my BIN. I refused the offer, did not counter either as I intended to raise my BIN.

Here is the issue, Afternic held my account in a "pending sale" state and I was not able to adjust the price for the next 48 hours and the same buyer raised their price by 1k and triggered the BIN before I could raise it.

I'm not particularly interested in the sale. I had intended to raise the price and attempted to raise the price but wasn't allowed to at Afternic (I did adjust the sales terms on Sedo during this time) even though I rejected the offer. In my mind, having rejected the offer (no counter) means there is no pending sale.

How would you proceed? Accept the sale and move on or reject it outright? I have no issues with Afternic, they've been selling something for me every two weeks on average and I've no complaints there. Just not happy with this sale at this price and would prefer to hold.

Charge it to the game brother. Sell and move on. Karma will catch up with you eventually.

Afternic would have countered with your bid, maybe the owner said he would thinks about it.

You can't be this absolute when you place bins, it goes both ways.

It is part of the business, you should be happy it sold for the price you asked.

If you are upping the bin based on their interest, most buyers would walk just based on principal.
