I got e-mail from Moniker.com few hours ago that my 5 domains are listed for SILENT AUCTION for NYC T.R.A.F.F.I.C. and not for LIVE AUCTION as I stated before. I am sad about it and it is not funny. I was hoping to be part of Domainers who have made some few $$$$ in this business.
But my questions are: Do I still have hope? Have anyone sold domain in silent auction?
Silent auction? LOL. :|

well, i think you will admit these are not quite on the same par as the live auction domains. It is a most incredible list that is being offered LIVE, and will probably do wonders for our industry being that it is being hosted in the media capital of the world!

don't be too discouraged, their are some excellent silent auction names being offered (a few of mine are silent) - and some like puzzles.com (wow!)

let's just hope the heavy hitters use this auction as a coming out party for our industry by bidding all these names up to their market value!

Any update on the outcome of the auction? How do we find out about whether our names sold and for how much?

It seems you don't.

The names can't actually be sold until the auction is over. If you want to know the progress thus far, you can register to be a bidder or just ask your respective account rep. Probably best to wait, since the biggest activity is in the last day usually.

Also, there have been plenty of high dollar sales in our silent auctions. You can rest assured that many of the big fish that were in the room for the live are browsing the silent as well, along with others who are off site.

Any change of you guys (I assume by your name that you are involved with Moniker) setting up a static page of the names and current bids? Should take about 10 minutes - and would save your team a ton of time from everyone asking how "their domain" is doing.

We can't set up a static page somewhere, but your respective account rep should be able to give you the lowdown.

Also, ping me if you want access to the Silent for the last day.

your moniker rep. will eMail you after the silent ends to tell you if any of yours got bids... (should have done that by now)

and for the LIVE auction - I saw a list of the sales prices for those
and posted it here:
