Just wondering what the general thoughts are about whether the recent trend to legalize marijuana will boost the prices of pot-related domains?

Hello Richasis,Having been out of the game for some years, this thread got me to thinking...
On a whim, I thought I'd make a play on my (last) name and just regged this:
budworship...com
Who knows, I think I might use it as a personal email account just for laughs.
This one stands out (at least for me)!
Grassily .com
Or try to sell it to Mr Bud Worship lol (I know a few guys named Bud, maybe a nickname that replaced their real name?)Having been out of the game for some years, this thread got me to thinking...

Welcome to the thread ... if I remember correctly you are from one of the cannabis friendly state..lots of tax money being made!Hello Richasis,
Welcome to NamePros!
I'm just a little surprised that was available.
Good luck.
Peace,
Kenny
"blunt" is one of those geographical keywords that might be hard to sell...I never heard that word till the Internet!Indeed, some great names here. NYS is decriminalized but working to legalize .
My last name begins with "Bud"; I'm also surprised that the name was available.
Actually, I just hand-regged another couple of domain names since my last post:
bluntcure...com / bluntcures...com
I guess I'm a sucker for a play on words - even if the "butt" of the joke is on me.

Timeline for Marijuana Legalization in the United States: How the Dominoes Are Falling
"Going green has taken on a new meaning in the United States. Less than two decades ago, marijuana was illegal in all 50 U.S. states. With Oklahoma passing a ballot initiative in June 2018 to legalize medical marijuana, 30 U.S. states now have broad legislation in place that allows of the use of marijuana.
Think of the states as dominoes lined up one by one. When the first domino topples, it leads to a chain reaction that causes most, if not all, of the others to fall. That's what has happened, and continues to happen, with state legalization of marijuana. The timeline for marijuana legalization in the U.S. shows how those dominoes keep falling."

I've regularly seen them wack out certain names and branding options also. Specific to weed, pot, and marijuana. These municipal entities don't want pot shop names they are interested in Canna and Leaf etc ( the leaf is my plug fyi) ; and other non get high connotations on street signage and branding.
Nothing wrong with a "play on words"..think "High Times"..Yeah, I've heard the term bantered about by some Millennials...I'm by no means an expert on this.
Again my play on words got the better of me as I was shooting more for the adjective form of the word.
I'll leave it to the individual to determine whether the word "blunt" is in noun or adjective form...or both.
Thanks for the heads-up; I'll give it a good read...at least now I can say I have some skin in the game.
Inspired; This has been totally my observation as well, here in BC, Canada. There are multiple businesses being granted licences and opening up in readiness for the October date. All of them are using "Cannabis/Canna" or "Leaf" names. The old stoner names referencing "Pot", "Weed" etc, or anything remotely sounding like it's from the Cheech & Chong era, are nowhere to be seen.
Lot of those names is because if they want to do business they have to abide by Government/Provincial (advertising) laws basically like the Alcohol/tobacco industry but in "Beta" stage..This has been totally my observation as well, here in BC, Canada.
