Should we use online platform for Portfolio management?

I have seen many online photographers using scripts and software applications for their portfolio management, So My question is that for making the use of Portfolio management software for making my interior décor management on client's side, how much would be the cost of pay for such online portfolio management?

There are alot of Wordpress photo/portfolio themes out there, both free, and paid/premium.

I've never used them personally, but its worth investigating to see if that's a suitable solution.
