HI......sorry for the somewhat repeating an earlier post - I posted a similar question called "Domain management software" - tried to edit the title but it dosent show - so I will make it a new post....because the question is more than about software.

What is your domain management best practice?

What is the best "online" domain management application? I say online because I use an Apple ibook - so most of the suggestions I've been getting so far are windows based software (no I'm not changing OS)...

What is the best way to manage lots of domains - hundreds to thousands - (I currently only have 90+ but that is increasing almost daily) that are registered and parked at various places.

Is it better to park and/or register names at one place - so everything is in one place and easier to manage?

Any advice/wisdom here is kindly appreciated.

Peace,
Tarry G

I am starting to consolidate all of my domains to 1 registrar (enom) picked up a reseller account and I think it is easier to manage if all in the same place. As far as parking goes I only use sedo, yes you can test tons of parking companies and some pay more than others for certain types of domains which would scatter a few here and there. I chose sedo because I believe that if your goal is to sell the domains your best odds are with sedo as they seem to have the most users online that are actively searching to buy domains. So for me I don't mind possibly losing a few cents on the parking as I know the best odds of selling are there and I have already racked a few good sales plus it just makes things easier for me to manage if only using 1 registrar and 1 parking company. I have heard complaints on sedo revenue but I consistently get $1-$2+ clicks on a few domains so I know they can pay more than .10 depending on the domain. Personal choice really if you wanna test them at different places to maximize your revenue, for me I wan't the domains in front of more people so i don't mind possibly taking a hit on a few as far as parking revenue goes. You can park elsewhere and just list them for sale at sedo, afternic, etc... The more places you list the better. I personally have chosen enom & sedo just to make management easier with only 2 logins needed. Depends how much work you wanna do to maximize your earnings.

I'd recommend Domain Punch Pro but since you asked for an "online" version, try domainsbot.com or try to apply to Fabulous.com (both a registrar and a parking service, and you can also redirect to other parking services from the same interface).
I use all of the above.

I'd say don't put all eggs in one busket.
