Hello NamePros community,
I’m preparing to park a set of domains on Sedo and use paid traffic sources to test conversions. Before I proceed I want to avoid policy or approval problems.
A few specific questions:
  1. Is it better to create a Sedo account and obtain RSOC (Referrer/Source of Campaign) program approval before parking domains and sending paid traffic, or can I park first and apply for RSOC afterwards?
  2. Are there common pitfalls that cause RSOC applications to be rejected (for example: landing page content, tracking setup, or traffic source issues)?
  3. If anyone has successfully navigated Sedo’s RSOC approval, could you share a short checklist or offer to guide me through the application?

Background: I’ll be using paid traffic (PPC/redirects), testing landing page monetization, and want to keep my Sedo account in good standing. Any practical advice or examples of what to include in the RSOC application would be hugely appreciated.

Thanks — I’ll reply to anyone who offers help.

Hi folks — I need a quick favor. I want to park domains on Sedo and drive paid traffic, but I’m unsure about the RSOC approval step. Should I get RSOC approved before parking or after? If someone has gone through the RSOC application, could you DM me or post a short guide? I’ll be grateful for a quick checklist or pointers. Thanks!

Thank you so much for your help. I need a bit more guidance regarding the approval process. I already have some investment ready and a Facebook page where I plan to run ads for traffic.
Could you please confirm the correct order of steps for approval?
Should I first purchase a domain and park it on Sedo before applying for RSOC approval?
Or should I first create a Sedo account and apply for RSOC approval, and then start sending Facebook ad traffic after getting approved?
I really appreciate your assistance and look forward to your reply
