Hi,
im new here, im really happy to found this site, .
After 2 days of reading all newbies threads i want ask:

I found a two word domain available
im not gona tell exactly, but it look like this: a-b.com (under "a" is first word, "b" is second, no more than 10 letters together)

I search it by google adwords,
i search a-b
and it shows me a result of a b with low competitons and with almost 1 100 000 searches in month.

I dont want to build a site because i think that the a-b things are "over their top" . They are still atractive but it is after their "boom". You know what i mean.

Is this domain worth to buy and park? Or to buy and sell?

Sorry for the english im not english native speaker.

Probably not.. domain with dashes won't get any traffic if they were not established domains...

Based on what could be understood from your post, that doesn't look anything special for me. Searches for second words don't mean anything in your case..

Sorry, i didnt wrote it correct, the result in adwords is for "a b" words, both ,separated vith space, not just for second.

And about that dash. What if the dash is gramaticaly correct, it is two word phrase separated with dash.

You need to switch the tool to 'exact' searches you are looking at the broad search results.

Buying the domain to park it will probably do no good, as the first reply states; hyphen domains do not usually get type in traffic at all however the are good for developing, hyphens often help with SEO I heard because they act like spaces and tell the search engines what keywords are there.

If it is a recognised product or phrase then I say go for it, however as stated above again you must turn on the exact search query option, 1.1M searches is actually quite rare, even for something that gets looked for often like "credit cards"

Also make sure it has no TM issues by going to TESS :)

That's the right tool clearskies. They changed up the tool a few months back. You don't have the option to choose 'match type' until after you enter your first search. Then you'll find it off on the left hand side of the screen.

Thanks i checked it and it was just 880 search because it ends with s. Without that ending "s" it got over million searches. But its not available.
