.tv ShoppingChannel.tv - Price?

Hello,

I am considering selling a domain package of mine - ShoppingChannel.tv and Shopping-Channel.tv - to someone I know, now I would be interested what you pros would consider a fair price?

Here are the stats, if needed:
overture (shopping channel): alltogether about 20k
overture (shoppingchannel): 1022
google ("shopping channel"): ~15mill (several ads)

roguewriter, so far I am only considering to sell to the fellow, but I am not even sure wether I will sell at all since I like the names... simply wanted to know what you guys would consider a fair price on that one....

I would pay $300 for shoppingchannel.tv right now, but I wouldn't pay more then the reg fee for shopping-channel.tv

shopping-channel is just a defensive reg - no value (but preserves whatever value shoppingchannel has)

greatdomains lists a few ??????channel.tv domains for $5k - $30K. See if they will list it, and then figure the value is about half of the list price.

Perhaps I'm mistaken but your "reserve" at great domains is usually about 1/2 the listing price. Unfortunately your reserve and the value of your domain are only the same in theoryland. It could be worth 3 zero's more or 3 zero's less - that's just what value you can kiss your domain goodbye at.

I would definitely not go so far as to say that if your domain gets listed of GreatDomains that is its value. Quite the opposite actually.

Great Domains are about as random with their acceptance's and denied's as .tv are with the premium pricing policy!

ShoppingChannel.tv has a lot of potential. It is one of those domains that, I feel, should be developed before you even list it. Certainly you could sell it without development - look at Century and his offer, without even trying you have one, and if I wasn't so doggone broke, I'd be running his offer up quite a bit more.

But a developed shoppingchannel.tv, my oh my, big bucks!

Al, would you consider a straight trade for:

www.financechannel.tv and finance-channel.tv (with logo); and

www.channel7.tv

Both have reasonable (for a .tv) traffic (approx 50+ uniques per month) underlining their obvious compatability with .tv

I consider financechannel to be my most valuable .tv domain. Business Channel recently sold for 10k and financechannel.tv wouldn't (IMO) be too far behind as to quality. It is also a domain that I (had) intend(ed) to develop.
Channel7.tv however gets more traffic.

Q. Why do I want shoppingchannel.tv?

A. To develop as a partner site to technologychannel.tv (currently being developed with Brightcove).
