I'm thinking about launching a Shopping Review/Coupon blog and was wondering if I should use the ORG or the NET address.

The COM address is already taken.

ORG might be good because people like "FREE" stuff and a "FREE shopping review" would be appealing for people looking for "free coupons"

Its not an e-commerce site, since I'm not selling anything, so I can swing the ORG address

But NET might also be useful because it doesn't have the "non-profit branding" and might be seen as a more viable commercial growth website.

What do you guys think, use the ORG or the NET?

Com is best, but either net or org are fine.

What about something like shopping-review.com with the Hyphens?

Is that better for SEO?
But the Hyphen is annoying to type?

Search engines don't really care about 1 hyphen.

If you plan to develop it, then hyphen should not be an issue.

If you think you will sell a hyphenated domain on its own, then the name has to be premium and the hyphen must be in the right place such as hotel-reservation.com.

PS. 99% hyphenated names that we see are reg fee.

But I'm also thinking about Branding.
And trying to market the site for type-in traffic.
While I'm sure people will just type it into the search engine instead of the address bar, I don't recall seeing any semi-popular hyphenated sites.

So as far as Branding, would ORG be better than NET?

In that case, forget a hyphenated name.

.org is associated with non-profit making organisations. I think your business idea will rather fit with .net. Why don't you acquire both and redirect .org to .net or vice versa?
