BTW, $14 mill is too cheap for sex.com. I would have thought it would have gone for ~$50 mill.

You have to remember that once you have a name like that regged, you can continue to renew it indefinetely. Think of a premium .tv that costs $100,000/year to renew. Then take that cost over a thirty year period... $3 million and you have nothing in return (you are basically just renting the name from TV corp). If you own the name you are building equity, just like a house. Because the renew rate on sex.com is only ~$8, it is probably the best LLL.com out there, probably gets hundreds, if not thousands of unique type-ins per day, has enormous marketing potential, I think domain is worth more than $14 mill.
