I just found an interesting 'new' domain parking that quite surprising me. It called seoparking.com. it offers FREE services to its members and you can have your domains fully 'developed' in just few moments using the wordpress style templates. The content will automatically be updated and we can put our own ad blocks and/or banners at some designated spots as well as put the RSS Feeds, blogroll, etc. Very similar services to W******.com and P******R*********.com

if you want to take a look how do they look, here are some website samples using seoparking.com:
www.best-laptopguide.com
www.accidentclaim911.com

I just wonder, if this company gives *free service* and it's said that we can keep all of our revenues (from adsense and other kinds of affiliate incomes), what are the company benefits by offering this service? it's just for the sake of boosting the popularity or blitz the market during market penetration stage? or.... is there any other 'hidden' agendas?

any input will be greatly appreciated. Will also be great if we have the representative of the company itself to answer any further questions from other fellow users

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.

Usually companies that do this rotate their own ads in a cyle, maybe once every ten page impresssions or so. Or they place one of their own small advertising buttons on your page in a unobtrusive manner.

There is another company that does this as well and it similar but with it's own set templates called nowiw.com. They place a small button on each of your pages or ad a page with their own ads and this is where companies like this make their money.

doesn't sound like much, but with a lot of impressions and good indexing a small ad button or their own ad impression every 10 or so...it can add up.

Hope this sheds some light on this for you.

The site does say BETA in each page title - perhaps a new startup looking to generate some buzz. The FAQ does state user gets 100% of revenue - looks interesting but sounds suspicious

Those 2 sites don't appear to be compliant with Adsense terms - I wouldn't risk my adsense account there. (Or if you do, read the program policies and make the necessary changes).

The company is counting on making money through email marketing - upselling, cross-selling. Their terms of use opt you in to receiving email offers, etc. from them.

No privacy policy. That's been mandatory since Google acquired Doubleclick almost a year ago.

If you use them, build your own.

SEOParking and Google Adsense

I've just put one of my pages on SEOParking.com. They auto-generate content for parked sites based on keywords you provide and they do it for free.

They also provide the ability to include your own content, including ad code. They claim you can use Google Adsense, but I wonder if the "Auto-generated" content or anything else about the pages they generate violate the TOS for Google. So far, I can't find anything wrong.

btw, the site parked there is http://www.theHotelLaPaz.com

I don't see a privacy policy (maybe users must do this?)

That would be a problem. Thanks

I emailed the site regarding a lack of a privacy policy on the generated web sites. Here is the reply I recieved:

Hello,

The programmers have added your feature request to their to-do list.

Currently they are running around 3 weeks behind schedule so please bare with us while we get this issue resolved.

Thank you for your patients.
Randy

If they follow through, I don't see any other issues.

I am using SEO Parking, can you explain more about a Privacy Policy?
Why would I need that? and why would not having it upset Google' AdSense?

Because in their New TOS they have status its a must to have a piracy policy in sites where you put Google Ads.

That is correct. The Google Adsense terms and conditions say:

"You must have and abide by an appropriate privacy policy that clearly discloses that third parties may be placing and reading cookies on your usersโ€™ browser, or using web beacons to collect information, in the course of ads being served on your website. Your privacy policy should also include information about user options for cookie management."

Merging a couple of threads together - To answer a few questions ;) They've added a Privacy Policy form now it seems.

Seems to be released by the same people behind GotLinks.com - Which was a decent site if you're still doing those type sites.

I have added a few site to seoparking. Can't seem to find any of their adverts on my page. Perhaps it is hiding somewhere...

I quickly added Canada Cash Advance with no problems.
