Ok, so after brainstorming and thinking.. (It's very rare, picture the surfer/beer mongrel) :hehe:

This would be kinda big, and need several big heads but what if a script was created that was in cahoots with all domain servers that would tell you whether a domain was being compromised.

Kinda like a Neighborhood Watch.

You would be able to have the service of having your domains monitored on a consistent basis, various other features.

This is where you come in? What types of services would you want? I think I would make this service free & rely on advertisers space.

Any thoughts?

What this script would do is if you register your domain with the service, we will track your domain name and if the name server changes/what not. You plus the company will be sent out an alert.

Great question, it'd be like a membership site where you can notify us of any changes that you are going through and we would note that. While I understand things change, but what happens in the middle in the night leaves a question mark. I would think.

We could implement that no change of domains happen until you authorize the change and provide us with the security key that will be provided to you. Unless you are by your computer 24/7 and you check your email on the 5 minute increment, it might be beneficial to have that additional security that would allow you to be sure that this is an authorized change.
