I asked a while ago if people could take a look at my ads and give some advice and of course not one person answered so I guess I get pretty bitter when I see people bashing people. There are many selfish, eago totin people in here that think they are better than others... not to mention names but you know who you are....There is not much worse then posting and posting and being totaly ignored..... I guess the only thing worse would be insulted like whats going on here... who is anyone here to judge???

I think SEO is not 100% guranteed thing.

Those who claim to get you on top 10 results are sccammers.
Here is an example. If the SEO guy gets 11 payemnts for bringing 11 sites on top 10 positions will he refund one payment? Will he say to the 11th guy that "Sorry Sir, But the logic is that only 10 websites can be at top 10 postions"

I don't think so. He will gulp all the money and will keep the owners hanging.

If someone thinks getting out of sandbox is easy then they should try "web design or web hosting" as their targetted keyword and see what the results are.

SEO is full of facts and myths and I think writing a million pages also can't cover the topic properly. So discussing it on this thread is not going to get us anywhere :D

And it is natural that nothing stays forever so one of these days this SEO bubble is going to burst.

i do not think of myself as an SEO guru at all but i know enough to get by.

As for avoiding the sandbox, well im not about to spill the beans on that one. All you need to get out the sandbox is to gain googles trust (some people call this TrustRank). there are many ways to gain googles trust one of the easiest is through certain types of links. If you can work out a way to gain a lot of these trustworthy links then your site never even goes into the sandbox.

Ranking for terms like "web hosting" requires alot more than avoiding the sandbox.

Some of us are just savy enough to realise when someone calling themselves a guru is clearly not. If someones spinning lies i'll call it how it is.

they do not improve your Pagerank but if you link to some related authority sites (no PR 0s) then it does seem to improve your SERPS.

another way of looking at it is if a site has no outbound links then it tends to look over optimised and may incur some sort of OOP.

This fits my observations, though I only have limited evidence. I'd like to understand better how it works, though.

One theory is that having keywords in outbound link anchor text boosts the relevance of the page to those keywords (just as having the keywords in an H1 tag does the same). If that's right, then it doesn't matter who you link to, it's how you link to them.

Another theory would be that Google gives a boost to sites based on the quality of their outbound links (measured by pagerank? or some other way?). In that case, it does matter who you link to, but the boost may not apply to any particular keyword phrase.

Of course, the two theories are mutually consistent; both could be true. There are also other ways that it could work. Any thoughts?

I don't consider myself a guru but I have taken seminars and courses in seo. I have spoken with experts and I have many, many books on the topic..... I would always be happy to help someone if I could but I sure would not put up with being tested here... I have nothing to prove to anyone...

That being said.... SEO isn't everything. You can get all thr traffic and ratings you need and if you don't turn that traffic into members or dollars you have nothing.... That is what I would like to learn more about. Turning traffic into dollars.....

How about some advice in that area???

Regarding seo-- I recently replied to a post about seo and rss. I don't remember if that was here or somewhere else but I would like to hear your views on that. Do rss feeds help seo??? My opinion on rss feeds is that if set up correctly they can add a ton of content to your site which in turn will add tons of indexed pages into search engines.... The one thing that was always pushed into my head while learning seo was content, content, content....... What are views on that??? A site full of rich content can do fairly well with barely any seo....

My opinion on rss feeds is that if set up correctly they can add a ton of content to your site which in turn will add tons of indexed pages into search engines....

And I think you get penalized for having duplicate content. Most of the feeds are running on more then 1000 of sites. So it is duplicate content.
