Selling On More Than One Marketplace

Is it ok to put up a domain for sale on more than one marketplace with a buy it now option. It must be quite rare, but suppose you had a domain on both Sedo and GoDaddy and it got sold at both places at the same time. You obviously wouldn't be able to give the domain to both buyers, so what would you do? Or do you only put buy it now on one marketplace and make offers on others? I am assuming you'd be legally obligated to fulfill both contracts, but that would be impossible.

I put BIN at AfterNic listings, Make Offer at all other marketplaces.

Which is why you shouldn't BIN everywhere.

Afternic commissions 20%.
Sedo commissions 15% (10% if domain is parked).

AfterNic has a huge network.. If you've set BIN at AfterNic then your BIN price will be shown at all the partner registrars which will increase the probability of the sale, Unlike Sedo.

SEDO´s BIN price shows up to all partners registrars; their network is 3 or 4 times bigger than Afternic network and their commissions are lower than GD/Afternic ones SEDO is better for domains priced at 10K or under ...

Thanks.. I never read this anywhere else! But the BIN prices at Sedo won't be shown at GoDaddy right? And I think most of the end-users search GoDaddy when they want to buy a domain. Anyways, will check out Sedo.

No at GoDaddy, as they are not a partner registrar ... but they do show your BIN price at eNom, Name.com, Dynadot, 101Domain.com etc ... See more here:

I'm going to experiment and put half at Sedo and half at Afternic. It might take me a long time to see what works though, as I'm still building up my portfolio.

With only a few (100-200) domains.. we cannot come to a conclusion..
