Selling Domain Portfolio

Long story short! I have 3,000+ domains I want to sell. I do not want to sell them individually, I want to sell them as a portfolio. I am not selling the portfolio for the traffic value but rather for the name value.

So with that said does anyone have any experience or recommendations on doing this? I am already engaged with some potential buyers but I want to make sure I use all my options.

On a side note I should mention I am not really looking for a brokerage service either.

I have posted a similar post before but did not explain exactly what I was trying to do properly so that is why I am reposting.

Eh? Your in negotiations with potential buyers, but you don't have a list? How did you get in touch with those potential buyers? What did they say when you told them you don't have a list?

You are unlikely to get a price based upon domain value without heavily discounting the final price.

Your better bet would be to parcel similar names together and sell them as smaller lots.

Of course it depends upon the names and the price. Let us know how you get on.

I do have a list but I want to hold off on passing out the list to a place like a Domain Forum because I believe I would get a lower value for them because most domainers would eventually like to resell the domain.

good question indeed
either ur names are targetted to a certain niche like real estate for instance
n u are selling it to a real estate company

but with 3000 names it wud take 22k to renew yearly so if they are not getting ample traffic to even cover the renewal fees then have to see the resale value of it.

Its way harder to sell bulk domains esp 3000 names is not a small number..
i have sold bulk domains but in the 50-100 lots range.. even RJ have 3000+ names only.
