Selling a newly purchased domain

Do you have to wait for a certain period of time before you sell a domain? I have purchased a few and am interested in selling one on sedo or godaddy or something. Some were registered originally by me and some were purchased from other domain owners. Thanks.

It takes 60 days for a domain to be transferred to a new owner according to ICANN policy.

There were quiet a few instances that a newly registered domain are sold.

two (2) months after the purchase.

*But from what I understand, you can push
it within the registrar to the new owner.
They would need to open an account which is usually free

Yes, I concur. New domain registrations cannot be transferred to another registrar for 60 days (i.e Reg'd domain at GD and want to transfer it to Namecheap), however, you can "push" the new domain within a registrar (i.e domain reg'd at GD can be pushed to another GD account with no time limit)...
