discuss Seller not transferring domain

Hi

i bought a domain at GoDaddy but seller is not transferring domain.

Domain is registered at Ename and he is not responding to my email or godaddy emails.

I have already contacted GoDaddy and they have put funds on hold and suspended the account of seller till he transfer domain.

Have you face this kind of situation ?

What to do in this situation ?

Same problem here, but in a different way. I bought a domain on GD auctions, and domain's registrar is Godaddy, too. Normally Godaddy autamatically pushes the name in to my account. But this time they didn't. I sent a lot of mail to seller but he is not responding. Then I contact with the Godaddy and ask them to can you push it to my account, they responded with me a NO! They just warned the seller, but still don't have the domain. If I don't hear anyting form the seller in 3-4 days, I'll open a disput for this transaction to Godaddy.

open dispute within 15 days, better to within 10 days if you don't get any response as after 15 days GoDaddy will not refund your money either.

the domain might be with a G reseller. so G shows as the registrar, but the domain can't be pushed to a regular G account.

i'm trying to transfer a domain name from uk2 via flippa using flippa escrow to gd never done it before

{and my flippa escrow stopped working lol although that was to add pp}

so had to start flippa escrow for the 2nd time

transaction time from sold date to now is 7 days

i am communicating with buyer

have unlocked the domain from my uk2 and recieved the epp code which i have given to buyer

so i am assuming that buyer only has to log in to their gd account and accept their new domain in to their account? and use the epp code i was given by uk2 to transfer the domain name and then it should be almost instantly in their account?

buyer has paid i am trying to transfer but details still mine not theirs which i assume their registrar will update to their gd account etc?

Yeah this happens sometimes.. You can't do anything about it. GD can only suspend this user account.. That's it nothing else.

Suspending the users account is pretty much the extent of this one. They really don't solve the whole problem but make it so it cannot happen from that account again.

Sometimes they are old listings and the new owner was not selling, it has happened to me as well
