Should be interesting - and a decent gauge on numerics for 2009

Also interesting:

So far already 5% of the nn.com market is in this auction..

I have a zip code domain I registered back in 2003 I may enter it.

Just submitted mine. Now I will wait to see if it's accepted.

Ugh, I'd love to submit my 314 -dot- net to this but the strength of it is as much in its age (1995 registered) as the name itself, and that would get lost on people looking at these names at a glance on the front page. I've only ever had 1 auction at Sedo end higher than expected too...out of about 10-15.

How do you best find out if you own a zip code? Just Google it? I have several nnnnn.com that might scrape in under the criteria. Or should i just submit them all on a faint hope!

Right now I see 2 nnnnn.com in the auction inventory. 10029.com & 20032.com

I think you can Google it first and be careful you have 5 submissions per day only.

Good Luck :tu:

I have 3 nnnnn.com that recieve 30 or so views for sale a month at Sedo, which compares to 0 for the rest, makes me think they mean something, either Chinese meaning or Zips.

Might suggest these three and see what happens, probably nothing! LOL

BTW, i predict we will see a new record by far for nn.com with 88.com. Im willing to bet the current financial environment will not dampen this domains ability to reach a stratospheric price that will be amazing.

I would submit all that you have because you never really know what they will pick, it says you can submit 5 per day so if you can do that then by all means do it. ;)

I have a good zip good domain but it has not yet been accepted...

I'm curious about 88 too. I wonder if it will help boost numeric values across the board. What do you think it could do?

Not 100% Approved by sedo.com.

I have some US zipcode submit to sedo numeric auction, but reject it.

I had mine rejected also, LOL, oh well.

As for 88.com i predict we will see a Chinese buyer pay an absolute fortune for it. I would not even hazard to guess what this will be, but it could be in the x,xxx, xxx range. Infact if any domain could sell over a million $ ATM it would be this domain.

Then again maybe it will be a total bargain, but i highly doubt it. Another possibility would be 888.com buying it, and they have deep pockets.

As for other numeric values, im not sure, the fact this domain (88.com) is even being sold in this bad economic environment is a story in it's own right.

I bet it will be a bargain, since not that many people even hear about it, and probably even less people in the Chinese market. Still the reserve is 500-999 so who knows! Quite exciting to watch, I agree with you probably the highest numeric ever..
