SEDO parking and links ?

I was reading the sedo policy regarding domain parking here

IN the parking program rules it says

Domain owner may not generate traffic to their domain name(s) or clicks on advertising links by any of the following methods: listings on newsgroups or discussion boards (with the exception of "domain for sale" postings), bulk emailing, ICQ postings, or chat room/IRC postings, iframes, zero pixel frames, hitbots, clickbots, spiders, CGI scripts, java-scripts, or any other similar method.

Which I interpret to mean that the only way to bring traffic is from advertising a "domain for sale"

I am not clear though whether I can actually use a direct link to advertise my domains for sale ... Lets say making a post "domains for sale" on my personal blog and linking to them ... would that be illegal ?

Can I just put in my signature

DOMAINS for sale: link1 link2

What is your interpretation ?

i think it would be illegal. It's not natural traffic, you can list your parked domains but you're not allowed to link them.

Thanks for the input okapi, I have actually send them an email already about this but a week later have not answered ...

What parking companies allow you to link to your parked domains ? Anyone knows ?

If you list your domain for sale at Sedo you are allowed to hyperlink to "for sale" page (for example at forum's "domain for sale" listings) for that domain rather than to www. mydomain .com itself.

Parking companies usually don't allow hypelinks to parked domains. The only exception - they allow some hyperlinks that appeared before domain was parked. For example, if you grab some deleted domain, some of backlinks to that domain made before it has been deleted are aceptable.

Well, kriss05 I have seen lots of people linking directly to their domains ... not sure if they are parked at sedo though ... anybody knows of a company that will let you ?

What prevents you then from building backlinks for the domain first, getting some traffic and then parking it ?

that people link to their parked domains is illegal.

as to building links to domain before parking it - many people do it I guess.
