Alex,
First, I've never used a domain acquisition service. What's in it for them? If they obtain the domain, do you pay them a flat fee or is the fee based off the price they obtain it for? Maybe they take a percentage from the seller's proceeds.
Either way, it doesn't seem like getting the domain for the lowest price possible is in their best interests. That's how I've always looked at it.
$69 fee for there efforts of contacting the owner, assuming I buy it though them its a 10% fee minimum of $50 if I remember correctly.
Interesting way of looking at it, they would want the highest price possible for the commission I guess.
But at the same time, if they had other resources of contacting domain owners than the average person does then i guess the fee could be worth it.
Moniker does not charge a fee to initiate negotiations. We only charge a fee if we are successful in acquiring the name for the customer.
