I think sedo is a pretty good place to sell domains. Seems like there is always a good deal at auction for a decent price etc.

I have some decent domains (in my sig + some others) and I have them listed on sedo, but I never get any offers. I have the min offer set at $60, some I will put an asking price etc.

I only have a couple parked with sedo, so most are not showing parking stats, because I do not do very well with parking at sedo. Could this be a problem?

What are some tips you are willing to share to get some offers on domains at sedo.

Any special Categories you use, price points, do you use all 3 categories options?

The best advice I can offer you ... if you are more interested in selling names is to put a "domain for sale" or "inqiure about this domain" link on your parked page and list it on as many sites like Afternic / Sedo as possible.

I own close to 8000 domains and its not even worth my time to bother with sales... I am only interested in traffic , conversions, and PPC. However with such a large portoflio.... I am always getting offers and only a very small percentage of my names do I even list for sale or put a for sale banner on the page.

I just dont even want to compete in sales because its a extremely saturated market with to many sellers and not enough buyers. And the buyers I know (speculators) are only interested in traffic, conversions , and PPC.

The big sales come from a specific buyer who wants a specific name and no other name will do. Most domainers do not put themselves in the buyer's shoes. for example if I have a company called "Everything And More Online" and I want the domain EAMO.com. Now I can maybe pay you $3000 or more of the name or just go out and hand reg EAMonline.com ... or many other variations.

Its almost impossible to find buyers who want your specific name and more than likely they will find you... it just takes time.

Put them in your sig :) and as daniel says, put a for sale notice on your parking page. Then advertise your domain everywhere. Also indicate it's for sale in your whois record. These don't specifically push the prospective buyer to Sedo, but it might cut our their commission.

I get a fair few offers come through Sedo as all my names are parked there, usually the....... $60 or $100 ones just to see how much you are selling for.

Good post as I NEVER get any offers at Sedo but man they sure do love to look. All my sales have come from forums or replying to wanted ads. I tried to list my names at other sites but they seem so poorly done that they get hardly no traffic and no updates to the site.

Im to the point now where i think my names will only sell in auctions like here and traffic (have 16 in) and just wait on parking money until those auctions come up.
