Sedo closed my account - Now what do I do??

I've been with Sedo for many years, never had any problems with them. I've purchased several domain names through them too and they were always cool.

Logged onto my account tonight to find out it didnt work. I tried a password recovery and it said my account was closed. So I emailed Sedo asking what's up because they never sent me a notice, no email, nothing. Just closed it. And I have hundreds of domains directed toward Sedo.

So what are some alternative options to Sedo for parking my domains?

There are some domain names I see on Sedo that I want to buy - how do I safely get another Sedo account just to buy some more domain names?

I would not see losing a sedo account bad to be honest. Many other parking companies around with better customer service.

look on it as a positive thing and move to another.

How about contacting Sedo, and asking them why your account was canceled.

I've already emailed Sedo.

I can only develop websites/domains so fast with a full time job. In the meantime, it's nice to have them parked in case people are searching for domain names. I've sold a few here and there when potential buyers are searching.

but surely you would like to know why it was losed down, as you say you have been with them for a while and lets face it we provide sedo with revenue so at least they own you an explanation for the account closure.

There are many company's out there doing parking, so wouls suggest try a few names at each of them and see what results you get from them

My suggestion is to go to a different parking company and actually make some real money. Stick a for sale sign on them if you want...all companies allow this, or at least most.

As for listing them for sale, there are other places so have a look around.

I wouldn't worry about your account being closed with them overly much. Once you make better earnings off your names you'll be going "sedo who??!"

It happened to one of our accounts. We just emailed them and explained to them that we can't monitor how and where traffic is coming from on thousands of names. They explained to me it's on autopilot. We just parked them elsewhere and they unlocked the account. It did take them about a week to get back with us though. I had already moved all of the names to our other account by the time they responded back.

try parked.com (i have some parked domains there) , namedrive.com ( i only have an account with them never used them yet) and fabulous.com (you have to have premium type-in portfolio to be approved, but apply first to see)

Parked & NameDrive are good alternatives. Also RevenueDirect. And for all the negative things people say about GoDaddy, they delver clicks for me.

I test similar domain names with similar search engine placements and GoDaddy does best most of the time. You just need enough domains at GoDaddy to justify their fees.
