Hi All! :hi:

By request, we've decided to start a thread dedicated to Sedo. We're looking for invaluable insight into what domainers want and need out of our parking program (and marketplace, of course).

Questions, comments, suggestions, tips are welcome! We're hoping this will be a great discussion about what works at Sedo and what might not (please be constructive and respectful to others in your feedback) so that everyone involved can benefit and learn from it.

@Sedo When a buyer submits an offer for a 'buy now' domain, I am unable to communicate with them to negotiate. The only option I have is to lower the 'buy now' price. Will this process change in the future? Additionally, do you have plans to streamline the transfer of easily movable domain extensions (such as .eu, .de, .nl, .be, .at, etc.) by using an automated system to transfer them to your escrow account once the seller provides the transfer code, allowing for quicker transactions and faster payouts to the seller?

Please note that we do not have plans to automate the transfer of the mentioned TLDs as some require a local presence (in Europe) to acquire. We need to check if the buyer can transfer them to a registrar of their choice or if we can temporarily transfer them to our holding account to expedite the process on the seller's side. With regards to the Buy Now or Best offer feature, if a best offer is received, you should note that the best offer feature is not a negotiation its simply a one time offer from the buyer. You can either accept it or ignore it, you can not start a negotiation from it or communicate with the buyer. If you wish to communicate or negotiate with buyers then the price option Make Offer is for you.

I can see the rationale behind that, but can you tell or show us how the process looks from the buyer's perspective? Are they duly informed that they only have one chance to submit their best offer, that it's not a negotiation and that they are barred from communicating with the seller?

I can't reproduce this on my phone. All is showing fine, including paging. I think you should give Sedo Support more details about your specific OS, OS version, browser software, browser version, and further configuration.

also when u have chance plz take screenshot where the next pages are. I checked many times and cant see it. but I could be blind and or stupid

also m talking vertical screen. if it just works in horizontal it stll needs fixing. cheers

Same. Android 14 with Chrome app version 128.0.6613.146.

Note to Sedo: although the navigation arrow is visble for me, it is positioned in a rather inconvenient spot. It requires manually zooming in to select it.

@alcy Is it possible that the navigation arrow has fallen off your screen?

@Sedo There are bugs when sorting by "offer views".

1- When choosing the "Date Range" of "Last 31 Days" it returns all results as "n/a".
2- When choosing "Last 12 Months" it doesn't return data for names that were not on the platform 12 mos ago (my most popular name has the most views, but has only been on platform for a few mos). When choosing "Last 12 Months" it, along with many other names, do not show in the results.

Can you please fix?

I see.

On desktop and mobile it has infinite scrolling.

On PC this indeed works infinitely, but on mobile it's only showing part of your portfolio (even while infinite scrolling works for the first part). Like you said, navigation is missing to see the rest (infinite scrolling just stops).

@Sedo Infinite scrolling on mobile has to be fixed, so that it will really show all results in the unique Seller Portfolio overview (showcase).

Thanks for your comment.

I have gone through the process as if I was a buyer and unfortunately no they are not directly informed that no negotiation can follow only the standard message that the offer is valid for 7 days. I will see if I can get this text updated for the best offer domains so there is more of a direct statement showing that no negotiation will follow such one time offers. Thanks for pointing this out.

Thanks for the feedback, I have asked our Tech Team to investigate and repair this issue as even though I cant replicate the issue I have seen a few issues complaining about this. Hopefully it will be resolved asap. We apologies for the inconvenience.
Hi @Sedo Chris,

The same issue occurs in the pagination area. Manually entering a page number and pressing Enter does not work. Since this is the only way to quickly jump to a specific page, this option is now unavailable, and there is no alternative ‘OK’ button to confirm the page number.

In addition to the previously reported issue with changing prices in the Price column, please include this related issue in the same ticket. Thanks.

I was under the impression I was the only one experiencing the inability to change the price in the price column. At least that was what I was told. It could not be reproduced.

You're definitely not the only one. Chris personally couldn't reproduce it either, but did say he'd heard from other customers who had complained about the exact same issue. And there are now several reports in this thread, as well.

I wrote Chris on August 16th. It had been working just fine and since the 16th has not. Glad to know I am not the only one.

Strange...

I just checked and I was able to change prices in the pricing column. I cannot change layouts in the layout column and haven't been able to for months.

The issue is specifically about not being able to do this with Enter, while the OK button works.
