SEDO cancelled my transaction!!

I had an auction and then it closed with a winning bidder but then SEDO cancelled the transaction AFTER the person paid.

I contacted them asking what the problem was and they stated that there were too many security issues to move forward with the transaction.

I dont understand this at all, but then again. I don't understand anything..

Fraud happens daily, so they clearly must of had a reason behind closing the deal.

They could of been clued off by payment or some other actions. Right now it might tick you off, but in the long run it might be better they closed the transaction.

I would think if the buyer was real, they will come back to contact you. I would set up something on the domain that makes it very easy to contact you. They will visit the domain if they were real, trying to figure out what happened.

I would make sure their is a clear contact link on whatever is on the domain and that it's For Sale.

This sounds like they paid with either a suspected stolen cc account or paypal. Sedo is really a very secure way to do business and the transaction will have been cancelled to protect your interests. I do not believe they would turn away a "real" buyer on a hunch, there is definately more to this and if the buyer does contact you to purchase the domain you should be very careful.
