SEDO - Buyer paid for my domain, and yet, I have not seen the request

heya guys.

this is about my domain that i sold on sedo.
The buyer has paid and the domain is unlocked

but the updates on the transaction page say that the buyers has requested transfer. But WHERE ? i didn't see it. Godaddy (my registry) has not sent me any info on that. so how ?

i need the money for new year and sigh, SEDO maybe quite slow in this.

i am not sure about your case. but i noticed that when I try to transfer a domain away from godaddy they don't send any transfer request!
so what you have to do is:

login to your godaddy account,
go to "my account"
under "domain names" section you will find "Pending Domain Transfers" link.
under that you will find all you pending transfers, you have just to accept it!
that's it, the domain will be transferd!

you should be getting an email from someone at sedo soon (I keep getting Justin)

It will say:

Now that the buyer has made payment you can push the domain into our GoDaddy account and finish your part of this transfer. Please log into your GoDaddy account, check the box next to [YOURDOMAIN] in the domain list and choose the Change Account option (middle button in the top row of the nine above the domain list) and initiate the account change using the following information:

[INFO REMOVED]


It took a couple of days for me to get the email after payment was received. The quickest I've completed a transaction with SEDO has been 4 days, the longest: 1 1/2 months.

ok, i gonna msg him again. that was oliver. haha. who knows. maybe it was christmas and they decided to have a break ?

Sedo doesn't do much on weekends or during Holidays, so you may need to wait for them, sometimes it's a slow process...
