SEDO buyer not confirming info...

The buyer of the domain has yet to confirm his personal details and contract type. Every effort is being made to contact the buyer in order to get him to complete this information. Once this has been done, the transfer can proceed to the next stage.

How long does the buyer have to confirm their info before the deal is discarded? It was a great offer, I really hope it doesn't fall through.

I wouldn't be concerned unless it's been like that for at least a week. When I sold a domain on Sedo, it took a bit of time for that to change to the next step. The whole process is a rather long one, 2 to 3 weeks in my case. If you are having Sedo handle the transfer through their agent. It's always a good idea to check with that agent to see what's up. I think sometimes they don't update their site as quick as they should. Also they don't seem to do such updates on weekends.

I went through the same thing. I think I remember www.Sedo.com telling me the buyer has 30 days before deal can be cancelled. I know I felt like the buyer has more rights than the seller. Good luck, hope the deal doesn't fall through.

I'm going through the same thing,I accepted an offer a week ago but the buyer still hasn't "confirmed details and contract type".
I'm not concerned though.Alot of people who buy domains on Sedo have never bought a domain before and are unfamiliar with payment and transfer procedures.All my Sedo transactions have taken 2 weeks minimum.
