I observed if you are not logged into Sedo, looking at a domain details page of a domain listed as "Make Offer" (with or without listing price), when you actually make an offer, on the following page it says:

"New members: Create a free account below. Once your account has been activated and certified please return to the offer page to submit and confirm your offer."

How tedious is this process and is the potential buyer finally taken back to the offer page or does he have to return there remembering it (or the domain name)? Anybody tried?

Is it the same for "fixed price" listings or does that lead to instant payment?

If you have an account and simply "login" once on the listing page, you return to the "my account" page in your dashboard, so yes you would have to refind the domains listing page.

Sedo's interface, IMO is not all that great! It can be some what of a challenge for a buyer to actually make an offer or use a buy it now. The buyer should likely be able to figure it out... but it could take a little bit to do so.

The best thing for a Sedo buyer is to Login and then search.. but many interested parties simply do not have an account and many find it a pain to create an account even though it is free.

I'm pretty sure it sends you back to the referring page so I wouldn't worry. It is odd that they lead you into the system thinking you can do it all without signing in - surely that's the first thing they should ask!

Had some good sales through Sedo recently so can't really complain!
