I've never used it, but I've seen the service being offered on the "Make an Offer" pages that link from the the main parked page for names that I have listed w/Sedo:
No time for direct negotiation?
Then let our professional domain brokers handle it for you! Our brokers will work directly with you, take over the tedious back and forth negotiations with the seller, and use their expert knowledge to get the domain for you at the lowest price possible. Take advantage of our personal and competent service to finally get the domain that you really want.

Two thoughts just occurred to me:
-As a seller negotiating the sale of a name, is it possible to know whether one is dealing w/ a "professional domain broker" or the actual buyer?
-Because Sedo's revenue comes as a result of a commission %, could there possibly be a conflict here? If I were a Sedo "professional domain broker", I would find it difficult to figure out, exactly, just what my stance would be. Kind of like playing a chess game with yourself and trying to pretend that you didn't remember your "opponents" last move.

Sounds like a conflict to me. Sounds like going to the commission paid car salesman and trusting the story that he's trying to get you the lowest price possible from his sales manaager.

If this is regarding names NOT listed at sedo, it's probably not a problem if they get a fixed for for being a buyers broker. If it's names listed at sedo, it's definitely a conflict of interests since they are technically representing both parties.

Hmm..didn't think of it before

I just wish they keep their profesionalism by not handling buyer's negotiations to domains listed there
