So what is KaKa.com worth? Sh*tloads of money no doubt.
Well if you sell a domain at a not-actually-paid price you still have to pay Sedo a commission so moneylaundering has its price.
But f Sedo sell a domain they do not have to pay themselves a commission. So why not agree with the buyer of a domain that you will cut your $100k asking price down to $50k on agreement that they play along when you later announce they bought it for $1m? Or you could agree to take domains in payment with a nominal value of, say, $950k.
It's a win-win, gets Sedo publicity and pushes up domain price expectations, the buyer looks serious and successful - they hope - and if the buyer later wants to re-sell the domain, the value of their asset is much greater.
Does this hurt anyone?
