Hi everyone,

I'm new here. This is my third post and first thread. I'm trying to make sure I'm on the right track so I'd really, really appreciate if you could spare some moments to respond. Thank you!

Here are some domains I registered. Do you think they make sense?

vacation////in////england////
vacations////in////uk///
////vacation////in////uk
seattle////pet///clinic///
affluent////housing/////
London///////employment/////solicitors//////
europe/////crypto//////law/////
usa/////fintech/////lawyer////
usa/////fintech////law///
London/////business/////solicitor/////
London////startup////lawyer//////
uk//////copyright//////lawyer////
us////holiday////packages////

Notes:

1. Yes, there are a lot of law-related names here. I'm a lawyer so my thinking is that I'll easily be able to build them up and put some content on them for a while to make them more valuable. I know those are fields that will grow in popularity so I'm happy to hold for the long-term. If it comes to it, I'm happy to also just redirect them all to my own website, or give the ones not in my location out to friends.

2. The "seattle..." is my attempt at a Geo name. Is it good? Is it better to go with states or to drill down to more local areas?

3. I know, from reading threads here, that there's a perception that hand registrations are bad. I intend to look into buying domains later. These are just a test run to see if I'm on the right track when it comes to spotting good names. They came cheap too so.

Thanks again!

Tagging the following people I've seen in appraisal threads @LoodeX @bigg @jhm @VadimK @Iberica @zomainhacks . If this offends you, apologies. Please let me know and I'll remove your name.

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.

They are niche specific ..value of up to 300 each right now ..different end users different prices

The biggest problem you have with all these names is that they all are 3 words and it's no good. Almost any three word domain will wait in line until similar (and many times worse!) two words will be sold.
Do yourself a favor if you are serious in your domain - for next 6 months do not buy or register any 3 word domain names, only 2.

Getting fluent with a ''shorter'' name will also show you the way of when it's worth to buy ''3 worder''.

Talking specifically about your names I think the only one that stands a chance in lower $$$ is a seattlepetclinic.com (actually, seattlevetclinic - wouldn't it be better?).
An easy check about its value - is to contact such clinics and offer them the name.

Thank you both very much! I appreciate these insights very much.

I'll stick to two-word names for now as @VadimK Iberica advised, and I'll do some outbound later on too to test the prices with different end users as @LoodeX said.

@VadimK Iberica I followed your guidance and I've been looking for 2W names. I just registered londonbiking (com). Do you think it's better?

Thanks.

It's definetely better than the previous ones. But don't carried away with geo names, they are narrow in target and also normally much cheaper. 90% of geo domains will be sold for $$$ (if sold!).
