I picked this up on the drop the other day for reg fee. I am getting back into domaining after a two year hiatus! This is my first reg in over two years!!

Personally, I was thinking that law is a big, *big* business and therefore have plenty cash to spend from a law firm, or lawyers guild, or lawyer group. Also I think it is brandable and can be developed into a lawyer advertisement website. What is more fitting for the law community than a .org?? :)

Put the above top two words together. There is no hyphen.

Let me know what you think of it.

Well, the domain is a non sense expression "lawyer link" with org extension, I would say reg fee.

What is a lawyer link?

Searching for lawyer link words brings up websites like

www.lawyerlink.com.au

www.lawyerlinq.com/

and tons of similar sites.

As there are already similar sites, like lawyerlink.com.au or lawyerlinq.com, you may want to consider the effort required to build and rank a site.

If you are willing to commit to the effort, there are few ccTLD with same name available, which seem to have better scope.

Hope that helps.

I think it makes sense enough to develop and .ORG could work for it.

As DNVantage suggested, you'd have the chance of selling IMO if you build out a simple site, post some blog articles with links to resources. Get it ranked with traffic. Then it will be a sensible domain. Otherwise I don't see much desire for the domain alone. I think the plural would've been better, LawyerLinks.org, even then it's one of those names that are good to develop but not great stand-alone to the point someone will offer big bucks to develop themselves, not something worth holding onto for years with the hopes of a big sale.

Thanks for the input guys. It turns out that LawyerLink is actually a TRADEMARK... I'm not going to butt horns with a law firm over a trademark, that is for sure...

Grace delete it is! I will get money back instead of spending potentially thousands into a mediocre domain. Better safe than sorry.
