I know there are a lot of threads about singular versus plural names, but this thread is a bit of a variation.
I've just bid on a two word plural .com. Google search trends flat lines the plural, but the singular is on a rising trend, so it would obviously be better. Now here is the question - the singular is owned by Microsoft, and it redirects to one of their services. There is no trademark issue, as the two words are a simple phrase in daily use, and it is not computer or anything else specific. Does the fact that the singular is just a redirect increase the usefulness of the plural, and thus increase its value?
