Generally speaking, for a targeted product e-Commerce site, is it better to use a singular domain name or a plural? For example, "Widget" versus "Widgets". I find that google search results are generally higher for the singular but the plural seems to make more sense to me if you are browsing for products.

Also, which is better for resale?

My personal view on this is that it depends on the name and purpose. Ie KEYWORDgirls rather than KEYWORDgirl for an adult site. KEYWORDShop rather than KEYWORDshops for an ecommerce shop.
