refund issued to chetan. Now hopefully the scammer "Jack" is discovered and gets banned from every auction platform so noone has to go through him. and also move out all your domains from NetworkSolutions is my advice as you see what can happen.

Also apologies to Chetan for calling him the scammer and hopefully he can do the same as im not a scammer either and we can find the real culprit in this one which looks like "Jack"

lmao look what i posted just above this . the dos equis commerical at the same time
That's crazy, both at the same time. I was looking for an appropriate pic to make a meme of and figured that one would be good. I went and made it, posted it here like a second after you and then saw yours. I guess great minds think alike! ;)

P.S. I actually used to work with a guy years ago who had "RainDrops" as his nickname. I was young and new there so I never asked why.

I've learn 2 things in 2013.

1.Stay away from NetworkSolutions (even for free and cheap domains!)
2.Stay away from 1and1 (even for free and cheap hosting and domains!)

Total loss of $250 :)

But you can find worst stories on google ;)

Storry short: I did registered names for $0.50 each and got charged something like $40. Support told me that there's no such promotion. And we all know that NS used to offer Domains for less than $1.

I am glad things went well and feel bad about the loss it created.A big eye opener for me and when the red flags signals 'back out''.

Yup. Back in 2001 NetworkSolutions gave away "<my full name> .com" to someone else with the same name, because, I believe it was due to the fact that I didnt renew within 90 days of the expiration. Initially I didnt care. I figured I saved $70. Things were very different back then. Dont want to go O/T, but yes, #1

AND #2 I also learned the hard way and probably lost a few months of life and much hair over - never to be done again!.

Live and learn.

Theres four businesses you should be phoning.
Your credit card company to see where you stand disputing your transaction on flippa (get it going asap)
Flippa to find out what they know/can help you with
Network Solutions, emailing them seems to be getting pro forma responses, phone them.
NameJet or wherever it was bought from or went back to - the last the end buyer may be best off calling as he may be able to be told why they have his name.

I'd probably do it in that order, starting with looking at getting money back.
