Saved $2,000 in Transfer Fees — Here’s Why I’m All In on Unstoppable Domains

I’ve been moving my entire portfolio — over 1,000 domains — to Unstoppable Domains, and the experience has been excellent. So far, I’ve saved nearly $2,000 in transfer fees, which is a huge win compared to traditional registrars. Now that Afternic transfer support is available, I’m even more motivated to consolidate all my domains here. The process is smooth, transparent, and cost-effective — Unstoppable Domains is quickly becoming my go-to home for domain management.

The money you saved in transfer fees, you'll pay in renewal cost, so what's the point here ?

A .com available @ UD has almost double price of the SpaceShip one [ that's the cheaper on the market for the .com ones ], but Friday [ when you could have the .coms for $5 each @ UD, unless your favourite .coms are gone, meanwhile, waiting for the next Friday]

Now, please, compare all the TlDs you own in your portfolio, calculate how much it will cost you [ annually ] renew it, and post it again you did a good bargain saving on your transfer fees, and I will clap you my hands :)

Reason is that I'm not that one that I did this saving post.

I did my research in first, I did my choices and that's it.

I know how much I pay my .com @ my provider and I know how much it cost me the renewals.

Furthermore, even if not always too updated, TDLlist dot com helps anyone to compare buying and renewal prices.

Now, if you want to convince me that $10,- is equal to $5,- go on and wasting your time.

Their renewal fee is $11.08 which is only $0.20 more than say Dynadot.

So let's say you decided to renew for another year.

Assuming you paid $10.88 at Dynadot to register and again to renew, that's $21.76 for 2 years.

If you paid $5.54 to transfer to UD, and another $11.08 to renew, that's $16.62.

I don't know what the issue is?

Besides, UD have said you can transfer away in the grace period, so you don't even have to pay the renewal fee anyway as long as the domains are kept there for a year.

Free transfers were there till 16th oct for new users. Tgis is about $5.5 transfer discount which will help you renew at half the price.

I bet you hate Maths.
There is a savings of ~$5 to $5.5 on every domain renewal unless your registrar offers you .com renewal for $5

I'm pretty sure you're allowed to transfer out during grace period.
