Hello NamePros community! We are creating a single thread where we can share announcements in, talk about product updates, people can ask questions and host a great discussion on all things domains!

Slowly moved all my domains away over the last year. Just 2 remaining. Seems I'm not the only one to be less than impressed.

sav remains the fastest ui ever anywhere
... as in what I need done sav does quickest

Registrar with fastest UI in my experience is PorkBun, super smooth and very fast. But I don't have many domains there I prefer Dynadot (which is also fast) for their strong bulk management options.

I dont even bother to use porkbun and spaceship because tey are slowest on earth... plus porkbun especially has also the least friendly and stupid ui.

but really to get from a to z

.. whether its renew name or dns change etc u can literally clock the time it takes... so it's not even subjective
.. and for that old sav ui wins hands down with all others

its just an a to z count.
its not subjective.

if it weren't for unstoppable promo who knows if is not renew all on sav

Save is super slow when adding DNS records, sometimes the website gets stuck and you can't add any records.

I could not login recently using their new design, but the renewal and transfers works, not sure who are those paid shillos, which try to damage Sav rep.
I can say for sure that other registrars will be in the same situation, if they raise the prices, but we will use them, cause they are the most beneficiary from hand regs and renewals, no excuse. Personally if I get a big hit with domains, want to thank with some of my rare domains the registrars I used, that they tolerated me with my transfers in and out, so I benefit from low prices. Will see when the time comes for mass rebrand across the whole world.

nobody needs to damage sav rep. they did all that on their own. maybe u joined aftrt we fixed all bugs. good for u

me I always said I love sav for its ui

had quick look at new ui and it's less good so I hope they keep old one around

sav prices are still top on avg

the problem with sav is simply that it had so many bugs including major like vanished names that it left real bad taste

now all fixed. but u can't fix bad taste so many leave

as I said if unstoppable didnt promo I probably renew on sav

less work. plus ui is total match for me. plus om the end it would prolly cost me least too cuase prices still top

I won an auction at Sav two days ago. I got the initial congrats you won email, but have not gotten the followup receipt email yet. Usually it comes almost immediately.

I wonder if the owner Anthos is still speaking at NamesCon in a couple weeks.

No one pays me. Sav has been awful in recent times. And many domainers are having issues. Things got so bad, Sav stopped responding on NamePros since things took a turn south. Not the way a stand up company does business. Wouldn't you want to know what is wrong so you can fix it?

Meanwhile, since it looks like you'll be the last one at Sav, please turn the lights out when you leave.

i WON auctions Some domains but in a few days/week, sav refund the money..

in this case maybe they are bumping limit for a very brief time before the whole thing is over

that would make sense

either way get on it guys cause next time u see 5us off transfer on basically all tlds that we use org net com xyz etc .. will be... never

I loved sav for their competetive prices. Now its gone. Also their bulk check is limited to 20 & stuck up most of the times.
